At Centenary Memorial Gardens, we believe that a legacy is made of the small, beautiful things that stay with us—a secret recipe, a classic joke or a piece of timeless advice.
This year, we are growing our cherished Mother’s Day recipe tradition into something even deeper. We are proud to introduce the Keepsake Collective—a curated, evolving book that captures the "spark" of our loved ones.
Our inaugural edition launches this Mother's Day, and we are now gathering the first round of contributions. While we are starting with a focus on the maternal figures who shaped our lives, the Keepsake Collective will continue to grow throughout the year.
In September, we will release an expanded second edition, incorporating the jokes, stories and traditions of the fathers and father figures in our lives.

Whether you are honouring a mother, a grandmother or a maternal figure, we invite you to submit:
- The Flavours: Her signature scones, the secret to her Sunday roast or the "knack" she had for the perfect cup of tea.
- The Wit: Her quick-fire "Mum-isms," the jokes that made her eyes crinkle or the funny advice she always gave.
- The Wisdom: Her gardening secrets, her quiet strength or the way she always knew exactly what to say.
Submit your memory The Keepsake Collective below OR attend our Mother's Day Memorial Service.
Our Mother's Day Memorial Service will be held Sunday 10th May, 10 am at our Federation Chapel. Submissions for our Mother's Day Contributions to the Keepsake Collective will remain open until 5pm on Wednesday 13th of May 2026.
